What is free speech in sport ?
Free speech is a right everybody has, and it is protected by government, but it is a complicated issue.
Athletes have the right to express their point of view on societal issues using sport as a medium to make themselves heard
In sport as in other domains, people should be able to express themselves without censorship. But, this freedom has legal limits
Free speech in sports means players, coaches, or owners openly freely sharing their views on social issues, through words or actions, without inhibition.
Free speech means expressing one’s belief without any fear.
