sequence 1 :

• an island – a piece of land surrounded by water.

• a rock – a large stone or a piece of the earth’s crust.

• quiver / shake – to tremble or move slightly because of cold, fear, or excitement.

  👉 The lights dimmed as the movie started.

• starvation – extreme hunger; suffering or death caused by not having enough food.

• a painting – a picture made with paint on a surface like canvas or wood.

• a drawing – a picture made with a pencil, pen, or charcoal.

• a frame – a border around a picture or painting, usually made of wood or metal.
  👉 He hung the photo in a beautiful golden frame.

• a paintbrush – a tool with hairs used to spread paint.
  👉 The artist picked up her paintbrush and began to work.

• a charcoal pencil – a pencil made of charcoal used for sketching or shading.
